Parker & Sons Offers All-Encompassing Range of Quality Plumbing Services

Written by admin on Jan 30th, 2017 | Filed under: Press Releases

Parker & Sons, founded in 1974, has become known Valley-wide as the home of Phoenix’s premier team of highly-trained plumbers. Parker & Sons, founded by Grandpa Jack Parker has long supported Grandpa Jack’s timeless philosophy of, “Comfort today, or you don’t pay!” For Parker & Sons, it is important to deliver high-quality, fast, affordable services no matter what. Parker & Sons has also worked hard to become a one-stop-ship for all home service needs. As part of that ongoing commitment, Parker & Sons’ premier plumbing team offers an all-encompassing range of quality plumber services.

A standard home plumbing system is much more complex than most homeowners and renters tend to notice. If water flows out of something, through something, to something, and around something, it is part of the home plumbing system. Unfortunately, given that the home plumbing system is so complex, there are many small issues that can occur. Even minor problems, a leaky faucet or a running toilet can end up costing hundreds of dollars if they are not fixed quickly.

Parker & Sons offers an incredibly extensive range of plumbing services. Parker & Sons doesn’t just clean drains, they offer an amazing 60-Minute Drain Clearing Guarantee. Parker & Sons doesn’t just offer plumbing system inspections; Parker & Sons designed their detail oriented 60-Point Plumbing Inspection from the ground up to ensure that nothing is missed. Further, Parker & Sons specializes in services such as sewer line replacement and repair, bathtub and shower installation and repair, septic tank maintenance, water heater maintenance, tankless water heater installation, and much, much more.

Additionally, Parker & Sons plumbing professionals consider details beyond just their handy work. Every Parker & Sons plumber is licensed, insured, and Trust Certified. They are trained to leave the home even cleaner than the way they found it. They enter into a dialog with individuals, clearly establishing and detailing the price of all parts and labor before a job begins.

“We do it all. I can say that with confidence. There is no problem too large or too small. Whether you need us to bust a clog or rework an entire plumbing system, we are the people for the job. One of the things we are proudest of, is that we are able to treat every job like it is the most important job in the world. We do that because we know, to the homeowner, it is the most important job in the world,” said Justine Kelly of Parker & Sons.

Parker & Sons Speaks on the Extraordinary Benefits of Using ENERGY STAR Certified Heat Pump Water Heaters

Written by admin on Jan 26th, 2017 | Filed under: Press Releases

Since the company was founded by Grandpa Jack and Grandma Faye Parker in 1974, Parker & Sons has risen to the top in Phoenix, Arizona. Parker & Sons, now known as Phoenix’s premier provider of quality home services in the areas of plumbing, electrical, water treatment, heating, and cooling, has proudly answered thousands of services calls over the last four decades. Throughout the course of their diligent work in Phoenix, the service team at Parker & Sons has noticed that nearly all homeowners and renters share at least one major interest. They all want to save money on their monthly electricity bill. Parker & Sons, long viewed as an authority on home energy use speaks on the extraordinary benefits of using ENERGY STAR certified heat pump water heaters which have been shown to save families hundreds of dollars over the course of a year.

Parker & Sons is here to report that the hot water heaters are often the second largest culprit in terms of elevating the monthly electricity bill. Using new innovative products like ENERGY STAR certified heat pump water heaters can save a family of four over $600 per year.

New models of heat pump water heaters are highly energy efficient and represent a fantastic way to cut costs and save on the monthly energy bill. Parker & Sons comments that ENERGY STAR certified heat pump water heaters can provide saving nearly on par with tankless water heaters. While ENERGY STAR certified heat pump water heaters may be more expensive than some other model of water heater available on the market, on average, they will pay for themselves within a period of just 2.4 years. Over the standard 13-year lifespan of an ENERGY STAR heater families of four save on average $3,500 and avoid dumping over 20 tons of greenhouse gas emissions into the atmosphere.

Parker & Sons reports on additional benefits to using an ENERGY STAR heater. Many states offer incentives for purchasing an energy efficient hot water heater. Some incentives may even approach $1,000 in value. This helps reduce the difficulty of purchasing an ENERGY STAR heater by lessening the blow of upfront costs.

Parker & Sons encourages individuals interested in purchasing a high-efficiency water heater to speak with the home service company of their choosing. Parker & Sons has been outfitting, installing, repairing, and maintaining water heaters for over 4 decades. Founded in 1974, Parker & Sons has history individuals can count.

“ENERGY STAR products have been proven to save people money on their monthly energy bill. While many of these products are a little pricier in terms of upfront costs, they will more than pay for themselves in the long run. We encourage any energy-conscious families out there to consider an ENERGY STAR certified heat pump water heater,” said Justine Kelly of Parker & Sons.

Parker & Sons gives thermostat advice

Written by admin on Jan 26th, 2017 | Filed under: Press Releases

Parker & Sons, a locally based HVAC, plumbing, and electrical service provider who has served the Greater Phoenix metropolitan area for over forty years has come out with new advice for homeowners and renters who believe that their thermostats aren’t working properly, in an effort to provide assistance to the community in addition to the services they regularly provide.

“Sometimes we get calls and inquiries from people who think that their air conditioning unit is broken, or needs a tune up… and when our team members go out to answer a call, they find that the air conditioning unit is working properly fine and that it’s actually their thermostat that is broken in some way or another,” said Parker & Sons representative, Justine Kelly.

To help homeowners and renters save both time and money when they believe their air conditioning unit might be acting up or working improperly, Kelly said that, depending on the season and time of year, set your thermostat 5 degrees higher or lower, and be sure to check if the correct device turns on in accordance with that temperature change. If not, the problem is more than likely the thermostat itself, of a device within the thermostat.

Likewise, Kelly also said that “many people also forget to switch their air conditioning unit ‘on’ on their main circuit breaker when the season changes,” and neglecting to do so might make it seem like your air conditioning unit isn’t functioning properly. In this fashion, it is also advised that homeowners and renters take a moment to check their wires that connect their air conditioning unit to the main circuit breaker. It could be the case that the wires have become loose, or aren’t properly attached to their designated mounting screws, which leads to air conditioning or heating units not receiving the energy or readings they need from the thermostat.

Ensuring that your thermostat and air conditioning unit are both working and functioning together is what will make your home warm or cool depending on the season. However, if you think that one is broken, make sure to check the other before coming to any immediate conclusions.

Katie Leclerc and Vine Star Manon Mathews Star in Quirky Romantic Comedy ‘Holiday Breakup’

Written by admin on Jan 23rd, 2017 | Filed under: Press Releases

LOS ANGELES, Calif. –  Katie LeClerc of Freeform’s “Switched at Birth” and Vine star Manon Mathews are teaming up for a quirky holiday-themed romantic comedy “Holiday Breakup,” premiering on Netflix, Amazon, iTunes, Vimeo and others as well as selected satellite and cable television providers this month.

“I’m very excited to be part of a romantic comedy that is reminiscent of all those favorite romantic comedies of years ago,” said Mathews who makes her feature film debut. “I loved working with Katie who brings an amazing energy and humor to the movie which shows how complicated things can get for a couple who are polar opposites of one another!”

The film written directed and produced by veteran screenwriter Temple Mathews, who is Manon Mathews’ father and is known for Disney’s “Return to Neverland” and “101 Dalmatians 2: Patch’s London Adventure.” It tells the story of newly-broken up couple Chloe (Manon Mathews) and Jeff  (Shawn Roe) who try to pretend they’re still together for the holidays to make things easier for their families, but they soon find out that perhaps opposites do still attract.

“Manon and I have a great relationship and I immediately felt this would be a great vehicle for her,” said Temple Mathews. “It was a chance to bring back the classic romantic comedies from 20 years ago with a contemporary feel and with a fresh talent like Manon surrounded by accomplished performers.”

Manon Mathews, who is known for her irreverent videos on Vine, Twitter and YouTube, takes on her first starring role in a feature film as the quirky, free-spirited Chloe who finds her match in the serious-minded Jeff whom she meets at a 4th of July party. She soon embarks on a whirlwind romance that starts running out of steam as the holidays approach.

“I really want people to watch the film and get the message that love conquers all. It’s a message makes us feel connected,” Mathews said. “In the moments where Jeff and I are breaking up in the movie it really hit the chords of my past relationships that didn’t work out and how heartbreaking it is. But I also tapped into falling in love and how super fun it is. And then to have Thanksgiving and Christmas and how everybody has that camaraderie and appreciation for each other during the holidays makes it a feel-good film.”

“Holiday Breakup” also stars Katie LeClerc who currently stars in the fifth season of “Switched at Birth,” on Freeform (formerly ABC Family) and whose credits include “The Big Bang Theory,” “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation,” “The Reckoning” and many others.

“I had a great time being a part of this great story of how love can be so exciting and fun, only to take a turn that complicates everything,” LeClerc said. “Working with Manon and Shawn was great fun! They were very professional and had great chemistry together that really made the story really come to life!”

Taking on the co-starring role of Jeff is Shawn Roe, from Ben Lewin’s upcoming film “Please Stand By,” with Dakota Fanning as well as John Ridley’s detective drama “Presence,” for ABC. His credits include the feature films “Beyond the Farthest Star,” and horror legend Tom Holland’s “Twisted Tales.”

“Holiday Breakup” also features actress Mindy Sterling, known for her voice work in such animated films as the upcoming Illumination/Universal Pictures release “Sing,” last year’s “Minions,” “Ice Age: The Meltdown,” as well as her live action work in the comedy “Casual Encounter,” earlier this year, “Transformers: Dark of the Moon,” and as Frau Farbissina in the “Austin Powers” movies among others.

Also featured are social media stars Marcus Johns, Ry Doon, Vincent Marcus, Brandon Calvillo, Jason Nash, Sunny Mabrey and Hannah Pilkes who have combined 24 million followers on their various platforms.

“Holiday Breakup” is a Holiday Breakup Productions presentation, distributed by Gravitas. Producers are Temple Mathews, Joel Baral and Peter Odio, directed and written by Temple Mathews, cinematography and editing by Carmen Cabana, casting by Sharon Chazin Lieblein, and music by Michael J. Lloyd.

Parker & Sons reminds residents of pool safety importance

Written by admin on Jan 23rd, 2017 | Filed under: Press Releases

Parker & Sons has been serving the Greater Phoenix metropolitan area for just over forty years, assisting valley residents when it comes to any HVAC, plumbing, and electrical problems, tune ups, and replacements. However, ever since Parker & Sons was founded by Grandpa (Jack) and Faye Parker in 1974, the company has made it their mission to be as involved in the larger community as possible. With the weather expected to warm up within the upcoming weeks, Parker & Sons has made an effort to remind valley residents of pool safety tips for the spring and summer seasons.

“Even though we don’t work with pools in particular, nearly every Phoenix resident has a pool… I have a pool, many of our team members have pools, which is why everyone needs a reminder of pool safety tips from time to time,” said Parker & Sons representative, Justine Kelly.

Kelly went on to state that one of the most important pool safety tips, if not the most important tip, is to make sure that you have a fence around your pool area. Whether you have children or not, having your pool fenced off is a necessary safety precaution that everyone should take. The US government actually recommends that pool fences be at least four feet in height to meet the minimum safety recommendation.

Additionally, all pool and spa drain covers, whether they be in your own backyard or in a public space, should be compliant with regulation standards. Not only will this help to avoid a potential law suit if any issues were to arise, but these regulations are in place to reduce things like clogging or further drain and plumbing problems.

Kelly also went on to talk about how children should never be left alone near the water. An adult who knows how to swim should always be present when children of all and any age are in or around the pool. “… It is also a good idea to become CPR certified… so many tragedies can be avoided if people knew how to handle these kinds of situations,” said Kelly.

As a final note, Kelly wishes everyone a fun, happy, and safe summer.

Parker & Sons offers air conditioning tune up advice

Written by admin on Jan 20th, 2017 | Filed under: Press Releases

With the weather expected to warm up over the next few months, Parker & Sons is reminding valley homeowners to schedule HVAC unit tune ups, installations, and servicing appointments.

“The best time to have your air conditioning unit serviced is usually during or right before the spring hits,” said Parker & Sons representative, Justine Kelly. “The thing about Arizona is that even in March the temperature can reach the high eighties or low nineties… and I usually have the air conditioning running when it starts to get that warm.”

Kelly went on to note that getting an air conditioning unit serviced during the spring time can save a good number of homeowners quite a bit of money if they were to run into problems during the summer. First off, if there are any issues with the unit itself, such as various parts and mechanisms that make the unit function break or need any tuning, scheduling these services before summer can prevent the unit from breaking down in its entirety. And no one in the Greater Phoenix metropolitan area wants to spend any minute of the summer without air conditioning. For this reason, Parker & Sons offers an air conditioning unit (40PT.) tune up for only $69, rather than the original $99 price.

Secondly, homeowners can save themselves a lot of time, too, especially if they need their entire air conditioning unit replaced. In an effort to stay cool during the summer, getting your air conditioning unit replaced in the spring rather than in the middle of the summer will save you a great deal of trouble in the long run. To make comfort via air conditioning more affordable for valley residents, Parker & Sons offers a special discount of up to $500 on brand new heating and cooling system installations.

“At Parker & Sons, our priority is customer satisfaction,” said Kelly, “it has been the same mission since Grandpa [Jack] Parker first opened Parker & Sons in 1974… which is also why we commit ourselves to serving the community by letting them know how they can avoid these kinds of stressful and emergency situations in the summer when it comes to air conditioning.”

Trinity Exteriors, Inc Earns Esteemed 2016 Angie’s List Super Service Award

Award reflects company’s consistently high level of customer service

Eden Prairie, MN — Roofing and siding contractor Trinity Exteriors, Inc has earned the home service industry’s coveted Angie’s List Super Service Award, reflecting an exemplary year of customer service to members of the local services marketplace and consumer review site in 2016.

This achievement is particularly significant as Angie’s List experienced unprecedented member growth in 2016. More than 1.6 million consumers, many of whom were eager to quickly hire highly qualified service pros, joined Angie’s List after the company added a new, free membership tier.

“Companies that can meet higher demands without missing a beat in their exemplary performance standards truly do stand apart from their peers,” said Angie’s List Founder Angie Hicks. “Only a fraction of the roofing and siding contractors in the Twin Cities Metro area were able to do it.”

Angie’s List Super Service Award 2016 winners have met strict eligibility requirements, which include an “A” rating in overall grade, recent grade, and review period grade. The SSA winners must also be in good standing with Angie’s List, pass a background check and abide by Angie’s List operational guidelines.

“As a company, we feel honored to receive this award for an 8th consecutive year, and want to thank all of the Angie’s List customers we have had the opportunity to serve since 2007,” says Ted Swanson, owner of Trinity Exteriors, Inc. “Our purpose is We Take the Worries Away because our goal on every project is to minimize the hassle and stress for our customer that comes along with doing a construction project.”

Service company ratings are updated daily on Angie’s List as new, verified consumer reviews are submitted. Companies are graded on an A through F scale in areas ranging from price to professionalism to punctuality.

For more than 21 years, Angie’s List restricted access to its verified reviews to consumers who paid membership fees. When the company removed that barrier, some companies worried that the new, non-paying members would not be as engaged as members of the past. Experience has shown, however, that these newly added members are just as engaged – across all age groups – as prior members. Also, because the company continues to adhere to its review verification process, there has been no degradation of review quality.

“The biggest change at Angie’s List is that we are connecting even more consumers to high quality service professionals,” Hicks said. “And that’s good for everyone.”

Angie’s List helps facilitate happy transactions between more than 4.5 million consumers nationwide and its collection of highly rated service providers in more than 720 categories of service, ranging from home improvement to health care. Built on a foundation of more than 10 million verified reviews of local service, Angie’s List connects consumers directly to its online marketplace of services from member-reviewed providers, and offers unique tools and support designed to improve the local service experience for both consumers and service professionals.
