Pen Pals: The Unthinkable – Untamed Horror in New Series of Short Stories – Gory With a Twist of Love

Written by admin on Feb 28th, 2014 | Filed under: Press Releases

LIGHTNING RELEASES: Chicago, Illinois (2/28/2014)– (Pen Pals: The Unthinkable) – Innocence stolen at a very young age Author Roman numeral V struggled emotionally for years to stay afloat. Refusing to be the victim and give up, the author surrounded herself with the positive, because one positive outweighs one hundred negatives, “When all the lights go out the smallest candle can lead the way – giving up is not an option.” Says V

“Pen Pals: The Unthinkable” a collection of childhood memories and some exaggerated truths – page turner. When love is blind, life’s dramatic changes can easily cloud over realty. However, as Author Roman numeral V proves in new series of twisted love stories – losing sight of the world around can have devastating consequences. The new fiction series by V. Volume one, “Pen Pals: The Unthinkable” is the perfect opener to what promises to eventually become part of a classic series of short stories – expect the unexpected.

Shocking and Terrifying Twisted Love – (Pen Pals: The Unthinkable) – The cold wind was whistling through the pipes and cracks of the rundown old house where Katherine and her three daughters lived, but the girls were all warm snuggled together in the same bed when all of a sudden, Debbie sat up quick from out of her sleep, scared, looking around because someone was knocking on the front door at 2:00 a.m. More curious than scared, Debbie reached for her robe then put her feet on the cold, sticky floor, and then she started walking toward the front door. Another loud knock startled Debbie, causing her to snatch the door open out of fear, and a gust of cold wind rushed in, taking her breath away. When Debbie looked up, she was blinded by the moon and could only see the silhouette of a very large man standing in the doorway. Debbie screamed, “Bruce is here. He’s going to kill us!” Then she took off running back to her bedroom. Bruce was released from the state penitentiary, and without calling, he showed up at Katherine’s front door – then the unthinkable.

As the author explains, the new line of short stories urges readers to truly expect the unexpected.

Interested readers are urged to purchase their copy of volume one as soon as possible. “Pen Pals: The Unthinkable” Published by Trafford Publishing, is available now; www.barnesandnoble.com

Surrey Economic Summit $ 1 Million Failure prompts calls for ” Hockey Mom” Julie Paskall’s sister to run for Mayor

Written by admin on Feb 28th, 2014 | Filed under: Press Releases

SURREY BC. Lawrence Wilkins. The senseless murder of 53 year old Julie Paskall rocked the community of Newton, Surrey, but Julie’s sister-in-law Joan Ross, hopes the tragedy can be a catalyst for positive change, she hopes that comes from people of Surrey.”I think that people need to take back their power” said Joan Ross. Hockey Mom was beaten in what police believe was an attempted robbery on December 29, 2013, while picking up her son from Newton Arena. She died in hospital days later. Paskall is survived by her husband Al, their 16 year old son and two adult daughters. ” We can’t take back Julie’s death, but we can take back the meaningless nature of her death”, said Ross. I’d really like to empower people on a personal level, on an individual level and every person has something, they have something that they can give. Ross sees the community energized and she hopes that energy goes in a positive direction.

The annual Surrey Regional Economic Summit, held on February 27th, in Sheraton, Guildford, heard the three former international Prime Ministes, who described the shock of facing the 2008 global recession and how it served as a teaching moment moving forward. Former prime minister of Israel Ehud Barak, Julia Gillard 9 Australia) and George Papandreou ( Greece) addressed the paid audience of 350, during the Surrey Summit. Texas Oilman Boone Pickens lectured the profits of fossil fuel, while Speaker Shauna Sylvester on formulating business policies.

Former Mayoral Candidate Vikram Bajwa, described the Surrey Summit as paid by Surrey Taxpayers, to the tune of  $ 1 Million dollars, with the City of Surrey listing as an expense of $ 419,000, paid to London Speakers Forum, for Sir Richard of Virgin Airlines, in 2013. Amy Jordan a student at Kwantlen Polytechnic University, could not see any fruitful conversation at the Summit, when Financial mess of 2008, was discussed by CKNW Bill, ‘ Its all available on Google for Free, why should I pay $ 500 to hear their stories on losses”, said Amy.

Former Mayor of Surrey, on condition on anonymity, urges Julie Paskall’s sister in law Joan Ross, to contest as Mayor against Dianne Watts, in the coming Municipal elections in November 2014,to make a tribute to Julie and change Surrey, “to empower people on a personal level”.Ross believes the attack was drug related and has a message for those responsible and change in City Hall, is the only answer.

Mayor Watts has failed to provide security in Surrey, by being adamant in not, issuing a proclamation on establishing a ” Ward System”, in Surrey, which could assist RCMP in policing the city and fair distribution of economic balance.

RCMP can be reached at 1-877-551-4448 and crime stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 for any tips.

Modi Mission 272 Jinxed with US Afghanistan Withdrawal, Vikram Bajwa Indian Overseas Congress

Washington DC. Michael Jenkins. President Obama has ordered the Pentagon to begin formally preparing for a complete withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan, by the end of this year, has implications on the foreign policy of United States, Canada, England, Pakistan, India, Iran, Saudi Arabia and Iraq.

Pakistan Foreign Affairs has declared “the zero option means a civil war in Afghanistan”, speaking on condition of anonymity.

There has been a debate generated by think tanks in Washington DC, as to the Post scenario of Muslim Republic of Afghanistan, after US and NATO withdrawal, which will dominate the meeting of NATO defense ministers in Brussels.

India Research and Policy Centre, in U.S., with inputs from various Foreign ministers, of the Asian countries, are convinced it will have impacts in Pakistan, India, Saudi Arabia and Iran. The Center for Media and Security in Washington D.C. has termed the departure of US Forces would likely create “mayhem”, in Kabul, country, which could ultimately prompt one-third of Afghan security forces to desert their posts in the Army and police, impacting stability in Pakistan and India.

Obama has left the door open, for President Hamid Karzai’s successor, to be chosen in National Elections in April, to sign the pact, which coincides with the Lok Sabha Elections in India. According to reports, in the US and Canadian Media, BJP led by Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi’s, party will be heavily effected by US-Afghanistan agreement of peacekeeping. India’s UPA Government headed by Dr. Manmohan Singh, all along has supported NATO forces, maintaining cordial relations with Afghanistan, which are in the process of change in Kabul and Islamabad, due to the foreign policy spoken by BJP leaders and Modi. Karzai, Islamabad, Beijing are very skeptical of BJP forming the next Government in New Delhi, which could escalate a ‘war of words”, in India’s Elections and the minority fears, could backlash on India’s democratic values.

Indian Overseas Congress President Vikram Bajwa, strongly feels, “its time for Modi to go to Kabul and Islamabad, after his inflammable speeches as guardian of India”. FIIA Chairman Chandrakant Patel, fears a backlash in India, after US Withdrawal in Afghanistan, “Modi moves are jeopardizing hard won gains in India’s fabric, since Independence, his BJP Mission 272 is jinxed”.

Washington and Ottawa Think tanks are closely monitoring the India Elections and it’s verbatim, to comply with the New World order, maintaining peace in India, which has become a question, with Modi’s Presidential style campaign for the BJP, remarked Dr. Adam Stewart, of Boston School of Politics.

The as yet un-named project is being produced by Ini Augustine of Social Wise Media Group.  Ini Augustine overcame homelessness, domestic abuse, and economic misfortune as featured by the Huffington Post.

She is Aspiring Businesswoman of the year 2013 for NAWBO, The National Association of Women Business Owners.  She started her career with Dun & Bradstreet at the age of 15, and became the youngest Financial Data Consultant in the history of the company.

Ini’s experience as a woman in technology, insurance, and finance inspired her to tell the true story of women in technology, centered on the iconic music/technology festival SXSW.  We examine the idea of freedom, respect, challenge and success for smart women.  We want to include business owners and community in an effort to get this project produced.

Social Wise Media Group will be co-hosting the Iowa party at SXSW 2014.  South by Southwest is an iconic technology, music, and film festival, with over 100,000 attendees. This series provides sponsors with the opportunity to be an integral part of the startup and business community for years to come.  Anyone, and everyone interested in music or business will see this YouTube series.

The production would be edgier with a reality show theme and focus, featuring women business owners, speakers, and attendees. The series will debut in June of 2014 on YouTube.

  • 30,000 people attended the Interactive portion of SXSW.
  • 65,000 industry professionals attended the trade show portion alone.

The Alaska Veterans Museum’s Suellyn Wright Novak to be Featured on Close-Up Talk Radio

Written by admin on Feb 28th, 2014 | Filed under: Press Releases

LIGHTNING RELEASES 02/28/14 -Anchorage, AK – President Calvin Coolidge once said, “The nation which forgets its defenders will itself be forgotten.” Indeed, as statistics show fewer and fewer citizens are enlisting for military service, the stories of the men and women who have worn the uniform and sacrificed their lives for
our freedoms become all the more important.

No state’s history is as inexorably linked to the military as Alaska’s. Alaska is home to the highest veteran population per capita of any state in the union and it is the only state in the union where each of the military services played a significant role in shaping the state into what it is today.

Until recently, however, it was also the only state in the union without a veteran’s museum. That all changed in 2011, thanks to the efforts of Col. Suellyn Wright Novak, a former full colonel squadron commander with over 32 years of service in the United States Air Force. Today, Novak is the executive director of the Alaska Veteran’s Museum, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the memory of Alaska’s veterans and their sacrifices for America’s freedom.

“People, especially young people, need to understand what our veterans sacrificed to give them the life they have today,” says Novak. “We are very proud to tell Alaska’s story.”

The Alaska Veteran’s Museum mission is three-fold: to create a museum; to educate the public on military service; and to support veterans and active duty personnel at home and abroad. The museum opened its doors to the public in April of 2011 to rave reviews and has since attracted over 17,000 visitors.

The museum features historical artifacts including everything from weapons and uniforms to photos and posters. New artifacts from all over the world are being donated more quickly than the museum can process them so they are literally bursting out of their 1,433 square foot space. In fact, the current exhibit only represents only one-fifth of the museum’s total assets. Novak says they want their own building but they need help getting there.

“When I addressed the crowd at our opening, I said, ‘The good news is we’re finally open after 10 years; the bad news is we’ve already outgrown it.’” recalls Novak. “So this is our golden opportunity. The first hurdle has already been surpassed: we’re open.”

Close-Up Talk Radio will feature Suellyn Wright Novak in a two-part interview with Doug Llewelyn on March 4th at 3pm EST and on March 11th at 3pm EST.

Listen to the show www.blogtalkradio.com/closeuptalkradio. If you have a question for our guest, call (347) 996-3389.
