Premier Christy Clark should not appeal BC Supreme Court, B.C.T.F., ruling-Vikram Bajwa

Written by admin on Jan 31st, 2014 | Filed under: Press Releases

Surrey BC. Jenny Qui. Justice Susan Griffin said in her B.C.Supreme Court judgement that the Government must pay damages for extending to the end of June 2013, changes to collective bargaining that she had already ruled unconstitutional.

The legal fight with B.C.Teachers Federation began in 2002, when the liberals enacted laws to give schools flexibility in organizing classes. That legislation, Bill 28 , removed class-size limits and class composition from the collective bargaining process.

A court battle after 9 years found the Governments\’s action in 2011 to have violated teachers constitutional rights, including long lasting effects in B.C. Education system.

“Times of India awards were paid over $ 11 Million dollars, which could have gone to B.C. Teachers Federation”, said Vikram Bajwa, president of Indian Overseas Congress and former Surrey Mayoral Candidate. Susan Thompson a retired Teacher, questions the logic of appeal by Premier Christy Clark, while B.C. Education has become the worst in Canadian Provinces, due to Liberal policy and “political fight”, with B.C.T.F.
Justice Griffin rejected all Government arguments for the delay and ruled out that the negotiations were not held in good faith during 2012 school year. Richmond teachers strongly feel the present “adamant” Premier will hurt the B.C. Schools, especially minority Indo-Canadian, Chinese Canadian students, by regularly provoking strikes for the next few years.

Premier Christy Clark, should acknowledge the Government failures, pay the $ 2 Million fine and move ahead with other important issues, concerning the Economy and Jobless graphs, in British Columbia, is the wise words, of 16 year old Zeiya Gill, of Cedar Hill, Surrey B.C.

Education Minister Peter Fassbender has failed to make any apology on NDP education critic Rob Fleming calling the judgement ” an indictment of the Government’s last 10 years on the education file”. Liberal member Sukh Sidhu, condemns the minister’s comments on reviewing the judgement , making the education in B.C. the lowest rank in Canada.

“This is the beginning of the end of Liberals in B.C.”, said John Stewart of BCTF.

msWoods Real Estate, LLC Upgrades Website, Offers Dynamically-Driven Features

Written by admin on Jan 31st, 2014 | Filed under: Press Releases

LIGHTNING RELEASES- Indianapolis, January 31, 2014:  msWoods Real Estate, LLC, an Indianapolis Real Estate brokerage, announced the completion of a dynamic, data-driven real estate search website that includes a new, menu-based search system, search management features and a map-based search tool.

The system generates MLS listings via an IDX feed drawn directly from the Metropolitan Indianapolis Board of Realtors (MIBOR). Twice per hour, the system scans the entire MLS, looking for changes, such as new listings, expired listings, changes in listing status, etc. The new data are sent to the msWoods database, and the website is updated accordingly.

This data-driven process, combined with the company’s new advanced search features, offers users an “unprecedented level of granularity with respect to the available search filters,” says broker/owner Mike Woods.

“The new site was designed in-house from the ground up. Now, someone looking for a 3-bedroom, golf-course home on a cul-de-sac, located in a gated community with mature trees, a walk-out basement, first-floor master, etc., can find it; whereas previously, you’d have to take the time to read through numerous property descriptions, and that was very frustrating and time-consuming,” he said.

Other features include a search management toolbar by which users can save individual listings to “favorites,” as well as save entire combinations of search criteria for one-click execution at a later time.

The map search interface represents the most recent addition to the site. It offers click-and-drag navigation capability, combined with many of the same advanced search filters that are available on the non-map search.

Risk Consultant Rick Dalrymple to be Featured on Close-Up Talk Radio

Written by admin on Jan 31st, 2014 | Filed under: Press Releases

Longwood, FL What policies and procedures does your organization have in place right now to reduce your risk, reduce your operating costs and increase your profitability? To their detriment, most companies simply rely on their insurance carrier to help reduce losses. According to risk consultant Rick Dalrymple, that’s old-school thinking. What’s needed are cost containment strategies designed to improve your bottom line.

Dalrymple is a senior financial risk consultant, national speaker and author of the best-selling book Accidents Waiting to Happen, a book of best practices in workers’ comp administration. As one of the owners of IOA Risk Services, Dalrymple specializes in corporate risk management for growth-oriented businesses.

“It’s been proven if you reduce your business risk as a company, you can and will increase your profitability,” says Dalrymple. “Our goal is to make our clients “Best in Class”. By reducing the number and cost of workers’ compensation claims, they can reduce their operating expenses and increase their profitability.”

How much did your last bad hire really cost you? According to Dalrymple, what a company pays in insurance premiums only represents the tip of the iceberg in regards to their Total Cost of Risk. Between the cost of the claim itself and the cost to hire and train a new employee, the total cost can be actually 10 times the size. If a company has a small $15,000 claim, by the time it’s all said and done, that claim probably cost them $50,000. If you’re a company with a five-percent profit margin, you’d have to sell $1 million in sales just to break even with your costs for that claim.

“That’s why it’s important to reduce risk,” says Dalrymple. “You’ve got to stretch yourself out that much more just to cover your losses.”

To help shrink that iceberg, Dalrymple and his associates created a system known as RiskScore®. Like a credit score, a high RiskScore® qualifies a company for better pricing for coverage. Your RiskScore® is determined by a 10-minute questionnaire that provides an extensive overview of your organization’s operational risk management.

“We step in and show them how to manage their claims process and give them checklists and strategies to gain better control over a system that many times they feel controlled by,” says Dalrymple.

Simple solutions such as medical health questionnaires, proper testing and more thorough hiring practices can be extremely impactful.

“Too many business leaders fool themselves into believing their businesses are well-run,” says Dalrymple. “When you have multiple key people in an organization go through this process it’s like football: the left tackle needs to know what the right tackle is doing during an offensive play. We get everyone on the same page doing what they’re supposed to and we’re having fantastic success.”

Close-Up Talk Radio will feature Richard Dalrymple in an interview with Doug Llewelyn on February 4th at 12pm.

Listen to the show If you have a question for our guest, call (347) 996-3389.
